Presenter: Jeff Good, Ralph Tolbert and Jo Schiffbauer August 5th, 2008 - August 7th, 2008 PBS 45 & 49 Professional Development Center, 1750 Campus Center Drive, Kent Learn about blogging, podcasting, wikis, digital photography and video production. The class will focus on identifying equipment and integrating the technology into the classroom. Focus will also include finding resources for integrating the different types of technology into the classroom. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment (digital still camera, video camera, etc.) if possible. The following professional development sessions offer the opportunity to earn one hour of college credit from Kent State University for an additional fee. Participants will learn about handheld GPS devices, geocaching, earthcaching and educaching as well as the integration of Google Earth and accompanying tools for classroom use. Participants can bring their own technology (handheld GPS devices) but handheld GPS devices will be available on loan. The following professional development sessions offer the opportunity to earn one hour of college credit from Kent State University for an additional fee.
